What exactly is Pitchµm?
First, It stands for Projet, Ingénierie & Technologie pour l’Univers Microbien (Project, Engineering & Technology for the Universe of Microbs).
It all started from a simple need: observing environmental bacteria. To meet this need, we created an experimental laboratory dedicated to observing a wide variety of microorganisms and their interactions.
Unlike a platform, a laboratory operates through projects, not services. This means you’ll need to connect with the brilliant researchers and technical staff working there to co-develop your project. Nothing too complicated—it’s the same approach as with the IAM team.

To sum up: What is Pitchµm?
Two core technologies are available:

1 – Microfluidics, which enables:
– Dynamic observation of entire microbial colonies,
– Study of interactions between microorganisms and their environment,
– Integration of controlled biological and physicochemical parameters,
– Real-time live imaging under the microscope.

More details available on the dedicated page.

2 – Cytometry, a well-established technology in the lab that you can explore further on its dedicated page.
