Together with the facility, we developed sequencing pipelines for various bacteria and bacteriophages as well as pipelines dedicated to global approaches such as RNA-seq, ChIP-seq and Tn-seq. DNA Libraries preparation benefits from the know-how and the equipment’s available at the facility such as robotized RNA extraction, nucleic acids characterization with a Qubit™ fluorimeter from Invitrogen and a TapeStation 4200 system from Agilent or precise and reproducible mechanical fragmentation of nucleic acids with a Covaris M220 sonifier. Genomic and transcriptomic analyses are also available at the facility by (RT)-qPCR (Bio-Rad CFX96 system) and by digital (RT)-PCR (Stilla 3-colors naica® system).
Lionel Bertaux is in charge of setting up and developing digital (RT)-PCR technology at LCB.
