Summer internship in Fierobe team

If you are interested in environmental microbiology, the Fierobe team can welcome an L3 student on a voluntary internship, to work on a bacterium (a clostridia) playing an important role in the carbon cycle on earth. The internship will consist of continuing the study of the different systems available to this bacterium to deconstruct the walls of plant cells from dead plants and participate in the recycling of the carbon they contain. This “carbon sink” on earth formed by the plant walls is about 100 billion tons (produced annually).
