Clément joined our team for his M2 internship under the supervision of Nicolas Ginet.
He works on the characterization of bacteriophage T5 strategies to bypass cellular defenses.
This project focuses on understanding the expression patterns of E. coli strain F’s BREX and RM islands along with T5’s impact on the transcription levels of these genes to understand how this phage manages to evade cell defenses.
